Watercolour Pencil With Altenew "Hello Sunshine"

Hello again!

You get two posts today! The class was posted at the Studio so I have the info needed to post it on my blog.

For this class we are using another Altenew stamp set, and these are the two pieces we will create with our watercolour pencils.

WATERCOLOUR PENCIL CLASS #7

DATE:
Saturday, March 24th
TIME:10:00 - 12:00 (12:30)
COST: $25.00 + GST
To register for this class, contact Stacey at sbebc2011@gmail.com  or  778-533-4290

For this watercolour pencil class we will be using the ‘wet pencil’ technique.
First we will watercolour a leaf filled background and colour flowers separately, after which, we will then fussy cut them out and pop them up over the leafy background. This will be all set and ready to attach to a mat onto your card.

Second, we will create a quicker piece with a sunshine background with leafy border edges at the top and bottom.

Both pieces will be stamped with the stamps from the Altenew “Hello Sunshine” stamp set. If you would like your own set, a very versatile set that also can be bundled with a die set, be sure to order it from Stacey if you would like to have this set for further creative projects.

BRING TO CLASS: Your first class sampler, all your watercolour pencils, watercolour brushes & water or Aqua brushes, scissors for fussy cutting, and pop ups/dimensionals. Note book and pencil if you wish.

Here we can have a closer look at each piece.

As you can see we are painting a leafy background with the stamps first and then painting the flowers, cutting them out and arranging them over the leaves.

For the second one we will be painting with yellows and greens.

I think you are going to love the wet pencil technique in this class. Here is a look at the very versatile stamp set from Altenew, There is a die set bundle as well if you are interested. Just let Stacey know.

Thank you for stopping by a second time today to have a look at this next watercolour pencil class at the end of the month.

Happy painting!
