Happy New Year everyone!

We will be using the gorgeous "Seasons" paper to create 4 different step cards! There will be homework for this class which should be available around December 28th or so, to give you some time to do your fussy cutting. You will need a few extra things for class, so be sure to keep the list of what to bring somewhere safe, or Bookmark the newsletter or post!

I did not yet have the Ivory Burlap String yet so had to make due with a heavier hemp string in white. I hope to change that out once it is in stock at the studio.

I look forward to the fun we will have learning to make these four different Step Cards and assembling with this gorgeous "Seasons" paper collection. I hope you will too. See you in class!

Class Photos - Spellbinders Fall Leaves with Oxide Inks

Sharing with you some more class photos. Everyone had so much fun in class creating these cards using Spellbinders "Fall Leaves" with Oxide Inks! Everyone was amazed at how the leaves would look when die cut from a piece of yardstick blended with beautiful Oxide colours.

These three cards were created with the focus on a piece of card stock that measured 6" x 12" and ink blended colours.

See how everyone's cards are a little different.

We layered four layers of die cut card stock for each of the die cut sentiments 'thankful' using the Xyron Sticker Maker.

Thank you ladies for such a fun class. It was a joy to see you create your cards in class. Hope that you all have fun creating more cards like this using your Spellbinders Dies.

Next Spellbinders class - Layered Poinsettias!

Happy creating!

Class Photos - 2nd Watercolour Pencil Class

This post will be a little different because I took a to of photos during this class. I narrowed down the photos to these ones for two reasons. 1) some of the photos were really blurry and not clear, and 2) there were just too many. So for those of you that were in this class and you do not see as many of your creations in this posting, those are the reasons.

I do, however, want to say how impressed I was with those that took the class. For some of you this was only the second time you issued your watercolour pencils, and I just want to say how impressed I was with everyone's creations! The next watercolour pencil class will be this one. I look forward to seeing your creations there too.

In class we created two scenes with the same stamp (Penny Black "Snowy Hamlet"). One was a sunset, and the other an evening view. So I will just leave you to browse through the photos, and some of them still are not that clear, but I chose to post them anyway. I am still having problems adjusting to taking photos with mu iPad mini rather than a camera.

Beautiful work ladies!

Looking forward to the next Watercolour pencil class!

Happy creating everyone!
